Postcard from Construction 2004

Under deep blue skies and the dry heat of a desert sun, a structure emerges from red earth and concrete hardstand. A flat plain, intersected by glinting ribbons of tarmac is surrounded by distant hills.  Tradesmen toil, isolated in discipline and desire. In the shadow of construction, landscape and human are merged.
